iMISS ROBINSON iTiiss Robinson Retires Miss Eva Robinson, teacher of history and mathematics in the Newport High School for forty-three years, retired from active duty at the beginning of the year. With a record of long, faithful and efficient service in Perry County schools. Miss Robinson retired with the respect, well wishes and affections of all those who had sat under her instruction, and of those who had served as instructors with her. Combining the substantial qualities of the older methods of education with the progressive elements of the new. Miss Robinson brought to her students the type of training that has always been essential in the development of fine American citizenship and in efficient preparation for living. At a dinner given in her honor January 3. the members of the Newport Teachers’ Association and the Board of Education presented her with a War Bond, taking at the same time the opportunity of extending to her their appreciation of her work in Newport and of wishing her continued good health and much happiness in the years ahead. In recognition of Miss Robinson's contribution to the cause of education in this community, the students of Newport High School affectionately dedicate this page of the Blunita to her. 8 The IV46 Blunita
