Commencement exercis® were held in the High School audit orucu The American Legion-awarded a prize to an Eighth grace boy and girl. Music, Athletic,-rd Agriculture prizes were -awarded to the Seniors. The student ranking highest was Helen Wright. A pageant'entitled Youth Building A Better World was presented by the graduates. The honorable diehard M. Simpson, the representative in the United Statba Ccnr from the 18th ' District, deliver a very forceful address. The ..iv ■ School orchestra contributes scleral selections. Recognition was given all seniors in absentia. CLASS DAY DAv f D M. MYE RS ( OMPII ME NTS OF PARRY'S HOME OWNED -GROCE RY The Class Day Program was presented May 18th, at 8:p.m. in the High School Auditorium. The Seniors, in their program entitled As Time Gobs By prophesied the events of their lives in the year 1959. The special features were Dizzy’s Dazzlers , a trio and a piano solo. The music for the class song was composed by Audrey Hall and the words were written by Gloria Mattern an'd Robert Jefferies. The class motto was In Youth Y e Learn; In Age V.e Understand. The class colors of • 44 wer© brown, -and buff • • Gcrd — enias, the class flower were distributed. The .evening closed with dancing for the.entire audience, music being furnished by Howard Gale’s orchestra.
