Seated: Le Sueur, Zurbuchen, Queen Versteeg, Goble, gaagaet Celebrating their success of the '55 football season, the NHS Cubs enjoyed the Annual Banquet given by the FHA girls under the direction of Presi- dent Marlene Williams, and Advisor, Mrs. Barber. After the delicious ham dinner, Coach Morrow and Mr. Naterlin presented awards, Coaches Morrow and Iohnson introduced the teams, and Bob Spangler gave a humorous talk as guest speaker. Following the banquet, a dance was held. The main attraction of the dance was the crowning of the Football Queen, Leatrice Versteeg, by Harry Cure. Waaaza At the annual football banquet Harry Cure, defensive linebacker and offensive fullback, received the award for being the most inspir- ational player of the year. Mr. Naterlin, who awards the trophy each year on behalf of the Booster Club, congratulated Harry. Other honors won during the season includ- ed four players who placed on the Coast All Star Team. These were Center Dennis Hamil- ton, halfback Louis LeMaster, tackle lim Crowell, and fullback Harry Cure. This team was selected by each football player on the Coast League voting for an all-opponent team.
