Other elective positions were those of the five yell leaders, who worked with the twenty-five member pep club. Six librarians, two selected from volunteers within each room, worked with Mrs. Schaeffer. The chorus of thirty students, who were se- lected during fall try-outs , sang for the Christ- mas program at Lincoln. Ucmce After game dances offered an opportu- nity not only for fun but also for money making. The various organizations and classes sponsored the dances after home games on Friday nights. New records were purchased by the Student Council after a student poll determined the most popular selections. Noon dances on Tuesday and Thursday noons offered relaxation from classwork.
