agent' Siam Songs, skits, and varied entertainment brought the ShoWboat to life in the annual Talent Show, sponsored by the Senior Class and held in the Newport High Gym. The fifteen acts were presented in front of a Water-color cutout ofa showboat. Newport headed the list of winners with Grand Prize Winner Margie Fields, who played the piano, Instrumental winner Ierry Dudley, on the trumpet, and Novelty Winner Shirley Looney, for her baton act. Waldport was represented by Carol Raymond, who was the Vocal winner. The Talent Show Committee, headed by Ianet Wolf, consisted of Colleen Currin, Sue LeSueur, Terry Mahon, Don Pier, Darwin Pier. Virginia Gesik, Louie LeMaster, Marilyn Wal- drop, and Sandy Griswalcl. Center Lett: Margie plays Rachmaninoft. Center Right: Above Grand Wmner Mm-gle Fields Master of Ceremonies Bob Spangler.
