Top: Polishing trophies. Above left: Louie leads Cubs unto field. Promoting school spirit this year was the Pep Club, an active organization. It consisted of thirty- five girls including the five-member yell squad. The Pep Club was headed by President Marilyn Waldrop who was aided by Vice-President Dar- lene Ward. Keeping records and funds in order were Secretary Betty Ludahl and Treasurer Ioan Houghton. Services to the school consisted of cleaning the trophy case, putting up the Christ- mas tree, backing the yell squad at pep assem- blies and games, and giving half time demonstra- tions at home games. Cubbettes wore the tradi- tional uniform, blue coulottes and white sweaters on game days. Advisor, Mrs. York, has been active with the Pep Club for three years.
