721,-4 Members of the FHA Won special honors at the South Willamette District meeting when Marilyn Bauer was elected chairman of the District. This designated Newport as the site of the 1956 fall meeting. Faculty advisor Mrs. Barber, voting dele- gate Colleen Simper, Acting President Linda Wolf, Marilyn, and four non-voting delegates attended the Harrisburg meeting. Late in November FHA members honored the 1955 football team with a ham banquet followed by a dance. Christmas activities included caroling at the hospital, decorating of a tree for the patients, giv- ing food baskets and repaired dolls to needy tami- lies.
