Iunior Class President Bette Simpson, the only girl elected to this position by her classmates, worked with her officers Vice-President Ivan Watts, Secretary Betty Ludahl, Treasurer Carolyn Hope and Sergeant-at-Arms Bill Wheatley. Marilyn Bauer represented the class at Student Council. Bette appointed various committees to promote class projects such as carnival committees, the Sweethearts' Ball, and the Prom. The Iunior class of '56 participated in many different activities. Selling refreshments at home games proved most successfulg this money increased the class treasury to cover the Iunior-Senior prom expenses.
