Golfers finish fourth The youngest golf team ever in Newport's history had its hest overall season in the last four years. With a final score of twelve wins and four losses, the Golf Team came in fourth place in the league competition, defeating its long lost rivals, Bellevue and Sammamish. As a first try for Newport a Girls' Colf Team was competing. Its final season record was two wins and two losses. The two teams totalled 35 participants, who re- mained throughout the full season.
