The excit- ing game, against the Fountain Valley Barons, began with a first half totally dominated by the Tars. As the gun sounded indicating the end of the half, tension mounted as the Homecoming Princesses came on to the field. Each girl was chauffered to the home stand in classic cars, the first being Freshman Princess Karen Egan. Second was Sophomore Princess julie Brown and third, Iunior Princess Leslie Scott. Finally, in the last two cars, came 1973 Homecoming Queen Kris Uhler and the three Senior Prin- cesses, Nancy Beckett, Barbara Beek and lan Brousard. And then, the suspense was over. Homecoming Queen Barbara Beek was crowned by ASB President jeff Zigner. Harbor maintained its lead to beat the Barons and left the spectators in good spirits as they readied themselves for the Homecoming Dance, immediately after the game, at the Balboa Pavillion. Every half hour, students could take a ride on the Pavillon Queen while a group called Spring Canyon played into the night. Qi f as rf.
