A perfectionist in performing his duties, he has been the guiding hand from the school's humble beginning to its full develop- ment today. Every Harbor student takes pride in the top flight faculty, a modern, extensive plant, the enthusiastic student body, and the very successful student government. We pay tribute to this man who shaped these qualities into an institution to be valued. Every graduate who looks back on the education which built his success feels a deep grati- tude for the opportunities fostered by our principal, Mr. Davidson. MR. SIDNEY DAVIDSON MR. JOSEPH HAMBLET In my lifetime | have traversed some of the largest and most. famous bridges in the world, including the Brooklyn Bridge, the Niagara River Bridge and bridges across the Mississippi River and San Francisco Bay. In reflection the most significant bridge of all is that which joins in time the past with the present. It has been a very great privileg e to have been associated with Harbor High from the time when it was only an idea up to its magnificent present. During these twenty five years many thousands of boys and girls have received benefits from this fine school and we of the faculty have received inspiration from our contact with these young people. You of the class of 1955, nearly three hundred strong, have made a splendid record. | am proud of you and confident that you will prove yourselves worthy of the education which has been given you. His sense of humor, fairness, and friendly direction make our years’ span at Harbor High more successful. Dean of Girls Mrs. Harbison has successfully built a strong bridge of understanding between the students and the administration. In matters both personal and concerning school or social activities she has given sympathetic and tactful consideration, to those who have needed it. Counsellor In his capacity as counsellor, many have come to know and appreciate Mr. Robert Magnusson as the keystone in adapting students to high school life. Through him can be found the formula for future suc- Css. The Board of Trustees The Board of Trustees skillfully and wisely acts as the architect and designer of the school. With planning board and T-square the members plot the future. Sin- cere concern for the students is the moti- vation for the positive steps taken by the board throughout each year.
