Many new faces appear on these pages, for an unprecedented numher of changes occurred among the faculty this year. In the fall there were eight new teachers on the staff!--when the upperclassmen arrived on opening day, some wondered if they had wandered into the wrong school! Very quickly, however, the new teachers hecamc acclimatedg and, in this short year, they have become an integral part of Newport Harhor High School. Qutside of carrying on the regular prograrjn of studies and extra'-curricular activities, all the teachers this year have been seriously cgncerned with educational planning for the future.
