STU DENT SOCIETY HIS YEAR'S Student Society, under the direction of Richard Carlson, vice-president of the Student Body, and Mr. Ham- blet, advisor, Was composed of two branches, the hall com- mittee and the Student Court .... The duty of the hall committee was to keep order in the assemblies, in the halls, and on the grounds, and to do away with eating in the halls, on the auditorium steps, and on the tennis courts at noon. The Hi-Y Recreation pro- gram greatly assisted the hall committee in its Work .... The Student Court decided punishments for violators of the school rules. This group was composed of Richard Carlson, vice-president of the Student Body, Bill Neville, scribe of the Hi-Y, Betty Lam- berton, president of the Girls' League, Dorothy Dickey, secretary of the Student Body, Jean Croughan, senior representative: Eudell Sain, junior representativeg Alice Winterbourne, sophomore rep- resentativeg Daren McGavren, freshman representativeg and Mr. Hamblet, advisor.
