V ,W 'ncipal 'Tl 4 ICG o 0 As we look back over the years in California history we see how it is tied in with the found- ing and maintaining of the Missions. In fact the beginning of California is the beginning of the Missions. 0 The years of our school life have revealed to us that We have grown and developed because We have an institution based on an ideal, the building of citizens. 0 As you go out into the World may you grow and develop more be- cause of the school foundation. gf ml fy ' aw, HN. if, -,,. The padres knew little of the natural resources of California. but they did know the Value of faith and constancy and the joy of unselfishly serving humanity. 0 As our 1937 Galleon makes its voyage. I sincerely hope Harbor High pupils will gather inspiration to face the world as courageously as the Spanish Ex- plorers and with the ideals of service that animat- ed the padres in building the Missions. !wl2l'a.w214.m
