V x REVEREND RALPH W, BEITING, A. B., S. T. Neither of these zealous priests, however, has served his connections with N. C., for Father I-Iering frequently substitutes as teacher and the fine impetus that Father Beiting gave to the Thoroughbred News in the first months of the 1950-51 school year has lasting effects. REVEREND OTTO HERING, A. B. Although Father I-Iering and Father Beiting are no longer with the regular faculty at N. C. , they will always be remembered and revered by the students. Father Hering withdrew from the faculty when his activities as Assistant Pastor of Saint Stephen Church, Newport, Kentucky, became overwhelming and Father Beiting left the faculty to become the first pastor of Saint Clare Church, Berea, Kentucky.
