Freshmen Approrimately forty-two freshmen entered Room 3 eager to begin their first step toward graduation. We found it hard, but with confi- dence and dignity we joined the many activi- ties of N.H.S. We held our first class meeting under the supervision of Mr. DeGross. Our newly elected officers are as follows: President, Joyce Groch- malg Vice-President, Lorraine Beairstog Sec- retary, Judy Pelletierg Treasurer, Karen Wycilc Student Council Representatives, Eugene Hayes and Duane walker. Our upperclassmen treated us with respect, and we were formally initiated into our High School at the Freshman Reception sponsored by the Student Council. The combination of fun and noise brought forth a day we will neva forget, We have been well represented in all sports this year, and Room 3 is looking hopefully to- wards our next three years at N.H.S.
