We elected the following officers: President, Patricia Rooneyg Vice President. Muriel Lambertg Secretary, Dorothy Carrollg Treasurer, Marjorie Callg Librarians. Hazel Gilbert, and Mary Hill. We then began work on the music for our Christmas concert. This was produced with the help of the Boys' Glee Club. A Nativity scene was dramatized by a group of ,lunior High students. As a part of the finale, the fifth and sixth graders marched in singing Oh, Come All Ye Faithfulf' The concert was a tremendous success. After a few months of relaxing music, we began to work on graduation.

One of the most important organizations in Newmarket High School is the School Service Club. Under the direction of Miss Wood and Mr. Avery. we help to carry out some of the important duties around school. There are no officers as everyone serves on an equal basis. The members of this club act as office girls and librarians. Robert Szacik. Edward Boisvert. The Boys' Clee Club had such a busy year that we put off our election of officers until about half year. The following members were elected: Eugene Langlois. Presi- dent: Charles Parent, Vice President: Robert deRochemont, Secretaryg Robert Szacik, Treasurerg David Lang, Student Council Representative. Mr. Crocker really put us to the test this year. Our schedule included performances before the Parents and Teachers Association and student body. We also participated in a school Christmas Party and we were joined in song by the student body. W'e held our annual Christmas concert. in the new gymnasium-auditorium which was enjoyed by an appreciative audience. After Christmas we prepared for our spring time activities and Craduation.
