A MESSAGE FROM OUR SUPERINTENDENT The school year 1958-59 has had its moments of sorrow and difficulty as well as moments of joy and achieve- ment. As we relive these experiences pictured in our yearbook, may we feel the satisfaction that comes from know- ing we have met each experience with the best that is in us. As the poet said, Today well lived makes every yester- day a dream of happiness and every Tomorrow a vision of hope.

G. O. WILKS Principal It has indeed been a pleasure to have been selected to finish this school year as your Principal. I know of no finer man whose place I could have taken than Mr. John Hitch. I have become acquainted with a wonderful group to work with while in Newkirk. The Student Body cannot be excelled. The Faculty, School Board and Patrons have co-operated with me to the utmost. I shall always remember the School Year of 1958-59 as one of the most enjoy- able of my teaching career. G. O. Wilks, Principal
