MR. DITMORE Superintendent It is my sincere wish that each of you hove enjoyed your school life in Newkirk High School. Since knowledge is power, the search for learn- ing should be an enjoyable process. I am sure that every student knows that he has my heart- felt friendship and wish for his continued suc- cess in life. One of the greatest milestones in life is the ability to develop new friends. Remember, the milestones that mark your success will have carved on them the names of some of your friends. Therefore, let us continue to make new friends ond keep the old. I am proud to be a part of Newkirk schools. I am proud of the staff and student body. May I take this opportunity to wish each of you the very best that life has to offer. And if in future years you dust off this book and walk ogain the halls of Newkirk High School - then this book will have served its purpose. There is a quote that each of you should always keep in mind in the bright years that lay ahead of you, “When the one Great Scorer comes to write against your name, He w'ites not that you won or lost but how you played the game.” Mackey D. Ditmore Superintendent SCHOOL BOARD
