Taylor Board of Education Since the Theme of our year book nCenturyn is the automobile industry let us draw a parallel between that industry and the whole of our school program. The automobile industry starts with the raw materialsandends withthe finished product. Whatis the product? An expertly functioning and beautiful new car in the possession of a satisfied owner and user. The money to uegin this whole process comes from the people, or investors Cgood citizens like you and mel whose investment is directed toward the production of the finest product it is possible for dedicated minds and geniuses to evolve. These stockholders place the functional details in the hands of the Board of Directors,which in our particular functionis the Boardof Education, who are elected by the people, known as tax-payers, who in reality are stockholders in our school system and endow them with authority to create American and Democratic personalities in our children,who are the new materials with which we work and whom we believe are endowed by God with certain inalienable rights,whichit is our privilege and duty to direct toward the fulland sacred achievement the freedomof each human personality. The Board of Education cooperates and works with the Administration Staff in securing the best qualified teachers both in terms of educational qualifications and personality outreach. Also, the efficient management and operation of the plant and equipment. This involves much work,thinking and planning together for a successful program, which will result in the finished product desired by the stockhold itaxpayerl and Board of Education. Similar in many respects to the expert who works on the drafting board is the lr. R. Beutel Mr. L.
