Denise Gipe, and Kris Holdsworth, would like to remember our Senior year and past years how we enjoyed playing volleyball with all the Reserve and our fellow Varsity players. We never had a winning season. We only hope for you in the future, if you gain nothing else, you will remember what we gained by the end of our last season — close friendships. Steve Dinkins — In Chemistry my Junior year we would add the stuff without measuring it. Steve Russell — I was going to remember something, but I’m having such a good time I forgot what it was! Shawn Reilly — I’ll always remember in the 4th Period Advanced Math Class when we took the legs off Mrs, Berkley’s desk. Kathy Welch — I will always laugh when I remember Tammy Stocker as my wife in “As Time Ticks On”. What a soap that was?! Remember the begging. Tammy?? Hey Carolyn and Tom — Karla and I are still “Cavity Creeps.” Thanks Carolyn for our terrific times (Don’t forget the Modeling Agency in Calif.) Tina Gray — I feel that the hand should be remembered for all the remarkable things we accomplished. This was the first year we ever qualified for State Competition. That day will be one none of us will ever forget. We held together throughout the year and when we received a Superior rating, we knew it was all worthwhile. That was a once-in-a-lifetiine experience that I shall always cherish. Mike Wilkin — I will never forget my Junior Metal Shop Class for all the wild things Floyd and Ron Plants did. It made our Junior year one to remember. Also. I will always remember the good times with Jodi and all my friends. Tom Cinefro — One of the memories I have is of Choir class when Mr. Little and I would disagree on my singing and other things. The other memory is of Kariann and I having a super good time together in Marching Band, school, and other activities. Mark Lamson — I would like to immortalize my memories of Speech Class 80-81, going to Pomeroy (part 2), Powderpuff Cheerleader and King 81, Striped Bibs Forever!, going to .Net vs. Buckeye Trail sectional basketball games and my Junior year. It was a night I will never remember. And my thanks to Mr. Berkley for thinking of the name “Bad Toad” for a certain person in Newcosean. The name Fits!! And lastly. WILD PIGS LIVE!!! Natalie Tufford — I will remember my Sophomore year when I was always gettin picked up and carried around the school at lunch by Brad Lineback. I will remember having detention from Mrs. Beckley because Jeff W'. and I were sword-fighting with our pencils. And last, but not least, I will remember becoming head majorette and having the sweetest squad I could ever ask for. I’ll never forget them. Carolyn Watson — I’ll never forget the past two years with Kurt — I have for you “just three little words.” Thanks Terri Marlatt, for all those crazy and sometimes serious times we’ve had, like Darlene playing “Lights Cut” and “B-b-b-boo?” I also remember band initiation quite vividly when F nie Art had to sing to me. We’ve been through alot, haven't we Ernie? Mrs. Beckley, Shawn Reilly finally admitted my innocence in Geometry class. See, I told you so! I will always remember Kate. We’ve gone through so much together. As counselors at Camp Tippecanoe, I had trouble distinguishing her from the kids — especially when it was time to go to bed. And how could we forget our ax-murderer scare due to Marc Gibson, Tom Hashman, and Jim Stocker? Remember their open mouthed stares. Kale? Hey Bob Meek, remember cutting up the starfish in Bio? We both ended up sitting on the heater! There are so many others 1 will never forget — thanks to all of you for my beautiful memories. Ram Belt — I will always remember when Hanna Clum and I tried to fit in a trash can in the girls locker room my freshman year. Also, I will never forget Mrs. Barthalow railing my house and getting me in trouble when I would skip out. Dona Baker — Here are my memories: We, Terri, Dona, Tammy, Lisa, Denise, Carla, Alice, Jeanie, and Barb will never forget our trips to the Palace Auction our Senior year. We, the Senior B.O.E. girls, remember the same questions that were asked every day like: “Mr. Bowman, what page did you say that was on?”, “Carla, do you have any gum?!”, “Tammy, what’s the answer to number . . .?”, “Dona, can I have a Kleenex,” We, the Senior B.O.E. girls, want to thank Dean Hammersley for everything he has done and for us and especially for the Valentine’s Day cake. We all appreciate it and love you for it. Barb Norman, Mrs. Lintz and Senior shorthand want to know if you’ve finally figured out that there are 210 words in 70 words minute lakes, 180 words in 60 words minute takes, etc. on Fridays? Hey, Teri — remember Thursday nights and TC?! Shari Smith — I will never forget when I was helping Miss Webster teach the Seniors C.PR. and Vicki Addy spit her gum in the Annie’s mouth. I also remember my Junior year in American History when Mr. Beckley was very tongue-tied and could not say anything right. And lastly, the day at lunch when Darla Phelps, Teresa Dulaney, and Kate and a couple of other friends were playing backgammon when everything went wrong. Tammy Stocker — I remember the time Lisa George 122 emoriei and Deana Froelich locked Dawn Scott and me in the trunk of my car, and they couldn’t get the trunk open! I’ll never forget the time in Biology when Nat Tufford threw a live snake between my legs! And I’ll never forget the fun times I shared with Mike Stocker during my Freshman and Sophomore years. Sharon Lamson — I will always remember Kristy Burner and I doing crazy things together, Karla Phelps and I in the attendance office, trying to flunk out of Algebra I and the skits we did in French 1 and 2 (the time Steve Dinkins was thrown out the door.) Kris Holdsworth — My Junior year Theresa Hogue, Deana Froelich, and I loved eating popcorn in the Tavern every day 7th Period. Thanks for the popcorn Mr. Art! It has always been my personal opinion that a person out for track should always push himself to be better than he is and never hide from the coaches to get out of running sprints. And finally, one of the fondest memories of high school will always be to remember that the Senior Class bettered themselves by not cheating the 2nd time on the Gov’t exam. It feels good to know that we won’t be sent to prison for cheating as the people involved in Watergate were! Teresa Dulaney — My memory is of the day in Advanced Math 6th Period when we threw white paper in Beth Blind’s hair. It was so funny! She sat there with little bits of white paper in her hair like dandruff. Karla Phelps — I will never forget all the times in Newcosean when Mark I.amson started calling me BAD TOAD, the time Teresa Dulaney, Shari Smith, Kate Welch, and I went to Phila to get ads and we almost left Shari at the Burger Chef, the times in Speech (Baby Studs, Flash Bedford, the J. D. Show, and the CAVITY CHEEPS), the time in English 4 when Mr. Gunther made Nat stick her nose in a circle on the chalkboard because she cut him down. I will also remember Advanced Math Class when Steve Russell assaulted me because I moved his chair. Hey, Beth and Deb, remember the “yard” and all the other crazy times we’ve had. Beth Blind — I shall remember when Deana Froelich, Theresa Hogue, and I went to get ads and we had a flat tire. The Belden Brick Guys fixed it. Then when going to Phila we got a safety check by Highway Patrol and my “Green Machine” failed! (troubles?) Next, my Freshmen year in Algebra 1 I gave Mrs. Beckley a hard time and I was always turned around in my seat. She told me she would give me the back of the head award. I lied to her once and told her I had my work done so I could talk and she said she lost her integrity in me. But thru the years I finally gained it back! Mr. Marlatt used to tell our Chemistry class that we couldn’t pop popcorn over Bunsen Burners cause it would burn — but we showed him. W'e had the best popcorn around. And lastly, I remember my Junior year in Flag Corps as Captain. We were on our way to a contest and some crazy girls had oreo cookies and they chewed them up and spit them. The girls got the cookies on My white dress. Oh I was Mad!!! I won’t mention names to protect the quilty. Theresa Hogue — My memories — Lisa George, remember in Geometry when I said that I would stab you with my compass? You didn’t believe me. Well, you know better than to dare me to do anything now, don’t you? Vicki and Lisa, I know we will always cherish the great times we had — dancing in the bathroom under the heat light in our bathing suits, swimming outside when it was 20°, and of course the great times we had at meals and our photo sessions. Deana, don’t forget all the great memories we have together. Remember all the fun we had in Ernie’s tavern and all the times we froze. I’m sure you won’t forget the great times we spent together in Speech Class. Deana and Lisa, remember when you two dared me to take the door off Mr. Art’s candy cabinet when he didn’t give us the keys? Well, 1 did it and we got our candy bars. Vicki Addy — My years throughout high school have been great. I’ll nover forget “ponking out” on our way to the state contest. I also had the pleasure of going to Philadelphia with the band. I have enjoyed participating in marching and concert band for 4 years and field commander for two years. I have also enjoyed keeping basketball and baseball stats. But the craziest time was when Theresa Hogue and I made total fools of ourselves at the Senior-Faculty game. What a game! The faculty cheated! But the big thriller was when Brenda Gibson and I tried to turn Thompson’s garage into a drive thru. We also started Addy and Gibson Wrecking crew open daily from 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM. 7980-8 Speech Class — We would like all our dumb skits to be remembered forever. Our thanks to Mrs. Spaulding for putting up with our “prudish” ideas! SENIOR CLASS — We, the senior class of 1982, will forever and always treasure the memories made by Mike Stocker. Time passes, yet the memories of Mike will endure. We, Mark Lamson, Sharon Lamson, and Tammy Stocker, will never forget having to attend KSIJ Tuscampus for a semester our senior year. WOW!! SENIOR CJL4SS — We, the senior class, will never forget Ingrid Bjerre and all the memories she left behind in America. It’s been real — Ingrid!
