■I Through the halls of our dear high school many times we pass. But the happy days we spend here all must end at last. These Alma Mater words hold true as the Class of 1968 discovered. What a wonderful last year it was, though. The community, faculty, and students of Newcomerstown gave the Seniors an exciting, memory-laden year. Dedicating Lee Field and entering the new Newcomerstown High School were an integral part of the year, but the Seniors also remember the everyday occurrences—standing in line at the cafeteria, classroom discussions, and report to the office for being tardy to class. 12

The air was cool and crisp, heavy with the smell of popcorn, and tense with excitement as the proud Trojans of Newcomerstown beat Scio's Panthers for their first victory at Lee Stadium dedication night. The game ball was presented to Principal Clifford Wilson by Hi-Y president Tom Little. In the heat of a humid September afternoon, the cornerstone was laid for the Newcomerstown High School while hundreds of students, faculty, and townspeople watched. 14
