The Future Business Leaders of America was a new organization here at Newcastle High School. They held their first meeting on October 1, which they elected their officers and made plans for the year. Three committees, Social Service, Fund-Raising, and Education, were organized to help coordinate activities in their respective areas. F.B.L.A.’ers attended the O.S.U. Leadership conference on December 6, and they held their Christmas meeting at Dodson’s cafeteria on December 1. F.B.L.A. sought to develop competent business leaders, and they enjoyed a very successful year. 19
