Fund-raising projects are an important part of Junior and Senior class activities. Last year the Class of '72 drew record audiences with their presentation of the Newcastle Follies of 1929, which was written and produced by class members. Junior Class activities were centered around projects to raise funds. One of the first projects undertaken was the presentation of the class play, Desperate Ambrose. Another major project was a spaghetti supper given in January. One of the highlights of the year came when the class received their rings. A second highpoint was the hosting of the Junior-Senior banquet in April. The juniors also enjoyed two class trips during the year. First semester they went to eat seafood; another outing was planned for late spring.
