YOSEMITE INSTIT TE '79 Between March 4th and March 10th, fortunate N.P. students had the oppor- tunity to attend the Yosemite Institute Program. 51 students and 4 advisors tMr. Pardee, Mr. Buttner, Mr. Freed, Mrs, Maybeel spend three days at Yo- semite Lodge where they hiked to Co- lumbia Point. They then travelled to Crane Flat for three additional days of snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The group hiked on the island observing plant and animal life. While there a scuba diver brought the group such tasty treats as sea urchin eggs and raw scallops.
