The journalism class, under the direction of advi- sor Karin Levine, was responsible for the distribu- tion of the school newspaper the b Prowler. ub Led by editor Danny Siegel, the group produced eight issues during the year, all of which were exceptional. According to Siegel, the 1979 Prowl- er was probably the best in the school's history, for it displayed great imagination in layout and photographic technique and contained high quality and responsible journalism. Siegel felt that the paper's editorial department was particu- larly outstanding, which he felt separated the Prowler from many other high school publica- tions, The Prowler tackled many controversial is- sues, and also did a bit of investigative reporting which resulted in news and editorial articles. 4 Qs , .ie 'Wi is 218 journalism lim
