n the Scene: The Pep Squad, consisting of Cheerleaders, Song- leaders, Mascots and an advisor, helped to create the most spirited year ever at Newbury Park! In the fall the squad attended all football games, water- polo matches, x-country meets and volleyball games. As winter moved in, basketball lboth boys and girlsl wrestling, and soccer were supported. With spring came cheers for track and baseball. Weekly, posters that had been painted by the squad promoting games and activities could be seen on campus. Behind the Scene: was the Pe S uad's advisor Mr Scott His In Room 19 p q , . . persistance kept everybody working together as one. Rick Scott spent much of his free time organizing fund raisers for the squads' uniforms, and camp. Mr. Scott also hel ed lan and coordinate activities and all the P P rallies. Thank You!
