Varsity team getting some pointers during the aw- Agoura game. he Varsity Water Polo team enjoyed a winning season this year. The highlight of the season was the game against Thousand Oaks, both teams fought hard the whole game and Newbury Park emerged victori- ous in over-time. Coach Chris Sawyer commented on the game, lt was the most exciting Water Polo match I've seen in CIF pIay. Matt Hayes and lack Mantor shared the team captain role this year. This year's team scored an impressive 229 goals to their opponents total of 107 goals. The varsity team combined good coach- ing with an all-around team effort to pro- duce a winning season.
