Towering above their already tall teammates were six-foot, seven inch center Bart Lennehang six-foot, four inch forward, Randy Dumouchel, and six-foot, two inch forward Verne Merrill. Kent Kayser, on the other hand, didn't have to con- cern himself with height because he was faster than most players and had great scoring ability. On the aver- age, he scored 20 points per game, with a remarkable 30 point total against Muir. Thanks to the leadership of Kent and the hard work of the entire team, Coach Baron's third season of coaching was successful. i U Varsity Basketball 97
