Lead by Coach Stewart, the N.P.H.S. Spikers took third place in league in the varsity division with a 5-2 overall record. The Soph-Frosh also took third place in league with a 8-2 overall season. The J.V.'s placed first in league with a 8-2 overall record. The Panther track team sent 8 team members to C.I.F. finals this year, with nine school records being set in the varsity and Soph-Frosh divisions. Varsity league champs were Keith Broccol in the 88.0, and Curt Ausmus in the 330 LH. J.V. Michael Sullivan, the senior class president, leads the graduates and their guests in the invocation. Claudette St. Romain addresses to audience with the second valedictory. The graduating class of 1976, which is the larg- est single class ever to graduate from Newberry Park High School, with over five hundred gradu- ates, will have many fond memories of their high school years. Karen Lauka, in the final valedictory, challenges the graduates to let the world know what they can do. This year we were honored to have four co- valedictorians. They were Karen Lauka, John Reeds, Peter Stamos, and Claudette St. Romain. Of these four only three gave valedictories. The valedictorians that gave valedictories were Kar- en Lauka, Peter Stamos, and Claudette St. Romain.
