Dark of the Moon was the fall production of Newbury Park's Theatre Arts club. The play which will always be re- membered as Laurie Brown's last production, was the tale of Smokey Mountain witchcraft. Performed in Newbury Park High School's own Little Theatre , room 13. The pro- duction was successful. Dark of the Moon Mr. and Mrs. Allen talk to their daughter, Barbara Allen with regret to the loss of her still born baby. Portrayed by Brian Humphrey, Sharon Siegele and Jackie Gavazzoni. l Marvin Huggins, Nick Cipollini, sits sharnefully on the ground after having been knocked down by John the Witch Boy, Frank Melia, at the county fair. 54a Student Life

A-Rehearsal of the Lorie Brown Memorial Production of Man of La Mancha The faculty show this school year of 1975-76 became a major production, The Man of La Mancha for the express purpose of raising funds toward construction of a memorial theatre in memory of deceased drama instructor Lorie Pon- zuric Brown. The director of music was Bruce R. Colell from CHS, the director was Dorothy Beaubien from N.P.H.S., the advisory director was Dr. Richard Adams from CLC, and Janis Myck was stage manager, a student from N.P.H.S.
