Tennis The Number One Racquet gwwwQe5Q?i4mw mv rkfwvwwwwwww Wig: A f - l24a Coach Dick giving the team a few pointers before a match. The players pay close attention and the advice pays off. Tennis Come on baby, all the way! thinks Jeff Richards, with a quick fore- hand to make it 30-Love. This year's 1976 Newbury Park Tennis Team began the season with stiff preleague competition. Led on by their number one man, sophomore Sean Brawley, the team faced tough matches against Dos Pueblos, Bishop Diego, and Agoura. League compe- tition once again keyed on the perennial cross town rivalry between Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks, with the league cham- pion emerging from those matches. Throughout the year Coach Dick was quite pleased with the improvements of Paul Moore, Paul Anderson, Tim Hackett, Jeff Richards, Jackie Ballinger and Dale Hovi- ious. Several bright J.V. prospects looking forward to breaking into Varsity level are Russ Laningham and Brett Korf, last year's Most Valuable J.V. player . fTeam pic- ture will be in the Summer Supplimentl
