Golf Panther Golfers choose the right course for their '7 6 season a Varsity Golf Varsity Golf:Front Rowg Brian Vanderpool, Carl Johnson. Back Rowg Dean Simpson, Jody Mack, Coach Thomas, Rich Drewes, Scott Martin. This year the golfers had a pre-season record of eight Wins and four losses. N.P.H.S. finished second in the league and went to the C.I.F. sec- tional playoffs Where the team finished tenth out of the thirty best teams in the area. The team had three returning lettermen, Rich Drewes, Dean Simpson, and Brian Vanderpool. Also returning to make up the Varsity Team were Scott Martin, Jody Mack and Carl Johnson. For the first time in three years, Freshmen and Sophomores were able to try out for both Varsity and Junior Varsity matches.
