Track Panther Tracksters on the Run Danny Esparza is so light-footed he hardly touches the ground. He's all set to go, and be the first one across the finish line. Whew! Only ten more laps to go, says Steve Smith. They work this hard every practice and improvement really shows. In 1975, the Varsity Track Team ended up with a 5-2 record for the season, while the Frosh-Soph team went undefeated to capture the Mar- monte League Championship. Only a few top performers were lost from the '75' team. Coach Stew- art said he expected all of the teams to do extremely well. Although he stated, our league is very well balanced this year, so it will be an ex- tremely close race for first place . Keith Broccoli, Curt Ausmus, Mark Bradley, and Jeff Mathews were our top performers this year. I sure hope this thing holds up, says Mike Davis, but he's really worried about going over the top. If the bar doesnlt fall he'll win the event and help out the team. l40a Track

New buildings, equipment, and more and more stu- dents have become more involved in sports bringing in new talent. Students arenit just involved in school sports such as Basketball and Football. Students and teachers show their own individual personalities and favorite passtime outside and in school. For instance, Worth Crouch shows his class how well he can do a handstand and sing God Bless America simultaneously. A variety of campus activities in- cluded gossip, music, wheels, and strut- ting on hands Sz feet.
