Math Department introduced a new course this year, Introduction to Hand Held Calculation Math. Had a theft - lost all of our computers for our honors program, about 35,000 worth on the C.E.E.B. exam, 'which has had an alarming decline nomatically, our college bound seniors have done quite well on the mathematical section and have not shown a decline. Reports from our past graduates that have taken 4 years of math at N.P.H.S., indicate that they are well prepared and have a relatively easy time in their first course of college mathematics. More and more stu- dents are taking difficult math courses as electives, which indicates a stronger desire for knowledge then for a G.P.A. I 4.
