With the Passing of the Bond . if . i Lili i The lush, beautiful, newly-enlarged library, where there is usually peace and quiet was finally completed for the students use. With the passing of the bond, layouts and plans for a new, expanded library where readily accepted. At the end of the school year, last year, the enlarging process began by moving all library books and magazines to portable shelves in rooms 7 and 8. During the summer months, the dust flew and the inside walls crumbled. Finally, when the dust cleared, the phoenix arose from the ashes in the form of the beautiful, car- peted, much-more-spacious library. With the new library came a new librar- ian Mrs. Barbara Warkentien. Under Barbara's management, with moral and physical support from Bonny Patton, textbook clerk, and Carol Walters, library clerk, the library ran fairly smoothly throughout the year. 127 Faculty Librarian - Barbara Warkentien, who maintains control and peace in spite of all her other duties as librarian.

Boy's P.E. locker room attendant- Jerry Naaktgeboren This year, the career center has many plans on the drawing board. Mrs. Lillinigreen has hopes to expand and relocate to a larger facility elsewhere on campus sometime during the sec- ond semester. This will give more roo m to have guest speakers and larger audiences. The career center has had 35 to 40 guest speakers already, and more are anticipated. With Mr. Reed heading up the work experience program, it leaves more time for Mrs. Lillingreen to organize orienta- tions. A special thanks goes to counselors Sylvia Michaels and Jo Anne Gastner for their extended help in scholarship counseling and for the time they spent helping college bound seniors prepare in every aspect of financial aid. On November 18, a college night has scheduled at T.O. with 110 representa- tives from colleges and vocational schools on hand to help both parents and students plan for the future college stu- dents' needs. .
