This year, as in the past four years, the freshmen football team had another highly successful season. The yearlings compiled a 6-6-1 record for the season. Although out- sized throughout much of the season the freshmen team came down to the last game undefeated. The most exciting game of the season, other than the championship game with T.O., was with Hueneme. The score was tied 6-6 with just one minute remaining in the game, Greg Paquin hit lon Allen with a A 40 yard scoring pass to preserve their un- defeated record. The championship game with T.O. was a hard fought contest with Thousand Oaks coming out on top 8-6. Newbury Park scored the first time they had the ball when Greg Paquin scored on a 25 yard run. The point after attempt failed and --F N.P. went in at half-time leading 6-0. T.O. scored the second half on a 30 yard run by lim Reaves. Their attempt at a conversion was successful which was the margin of their victory. Frosh Football 75
