Distributive education club at Newbury Park High School is dedicated to the development of business leaders in the Conejo Valley and Ven- tura County. Their ac- tivities consisted of a state convention held in the spring where students competed in business oriented competition. The California Scholar- ship Federation is an organization open to any student who meets the academic requirements. Some of their activities in- cluded a tour of the U.C.L.A. campus on CSF Day. Later on in the day they were guests at the U.C.L.A. vs. Oregon foot- ball game. GD g its p I will ll 1 ' 'ffl 3 Outing Club started their year off with thirty-five members making a trip to Mammoth for a weekend of snow, good times, and hopefully no broken legs. But Outing Club has much more to offer students than snow skiing, although, it does seem to draw the most enthusiasm. They filled the remainder of the year with backpacking trips, water skiing, camping, and a cruise to the Channel Islands. To help finance these trips they showed skiing films and held a fashion show. German and International clubs The German Club is in- tended to mix fun with various cultural activities throughout the year. Field trips were taken to Alpine Village, to amusement parks, and to view a Ge an film. The club also to part in celebrating Fasching and the famous Oktoberfest. This years advisor was Frau Feller it was her second year heading up the group and she kept the group busy with her interesting ideas.
