The panther spirt squad added something new, two panther mascots and six songleaders. ln ad- dition to our six cheerleaders. The new spirit squad worked hard to build enthusiasm at N.P.H.S. During Homecoming they sold mums to raise money and on Valentines Day, they sold and delivered carnations. The girls were very industrious at raising money for all the sports events and also to have their 1975 yearbook picture in full color. clubs and organizations 45

Q Panther band adds musical spirit This year, under the direction of Mr. Fisher, the Mighty Panther band strived to add new dimension to the musical spirit at NPHS. One of the newest experiences of the year was marching in the Simi Valley Spectacular. Along with the usual half-time entertainment, the band participated for the first time in half-time competition at Los Altos High School. In other competitive activities, they performed in the SCSBOA festival and the El Primero Band Review. Along with leading the music of the 1974 Homecoming parade, the band also played in the Ventura County Fair parade and the Camarillo Christmas parade.
