Career Center offers new atmosphere The Career Information Center was es- tablished to hel all students of Newbury Park High Schoofidentify their interests and aptitudes in relation to their future career choices. Students visiting the center find out about careers in a friendly, informal at- mosphere. Students can come to the Career Center for college applications and catalogues, career materials, audio-visual career information, guest speakers representing various vocations and colleges, Armed Services information and for participation in the Work Experience Program. Services available include job place- ment, draft registration, voter registration, Social Security card applications, and ap- titude and interest testing. A special thanks to those bus drivers and maintenance men who have devoted much of their time to serving NPHS and its students. Also, special thanks to Pete Magallanes, audio-visual man.
