Rick Mellinger Pin Him The 1974-1975 l.V. wrestling team un- der the direction of Coach Hurley took Third place in the Marmonte League. The team had a record of 9-4 including their victory against Agoura, 72-0. The team also went to the San Marcos l.V. tourna- ment and the Santa Barbara l.V. tourna- ment placing fifth in both tourneys. The team was led by captains Rick Mellinger and john Bellinghire. Most Valuable member of the team was Dave Williams with Mark Batchelor and Rick Heinz as Most Improved. The FroshfSoph wrestling had a dual meet record of 4-0. They were very successful at tournaments. The team took First at the Novice tourney, Fourth at the Royal FroshfSoph, Second at the Valley View tourney, and Fifth at the Simi tourney. The Most Valuable member was lohn Billinghire and Most Improved went to Mike Way. The team captain was lim Hyatt.
