Hagele quickly won the confidence of her classes through her practical approach to the problems of Home Economics I, English I, and bookkeeping. The Home Economics I class consists of 12 freshman girls: Susan Hix, Phyllis Lewis, Sidra Tappen, Nancy Lisowski, Pat Templin, Susan Im, Trenda Schlund, Nancy Slagle, Linda Prehn, and Pat Farley.
