is N-Ax Cafeteria i a popular place 3 times a da . BREAKFAST time finds hungry and some sleepy students eating a satisfying meal. New chairs of coral, turquoise, and white fibermold add to the decor and congenial atmosphere of the academy cafeteria. LUNCH comes as a pleasant interlude between thought- provoking classes and varied work assignments. Danny Trubey hands pie to servers Claudia Allred and Sandra Bruce to place on the decks. Facing a hungry family of four or five at each mealtime is challenge enough for most homemakers. Multiply that challenge by seventy-five or one hundred-that's what Mrs. Ruby Lenz, Food Service Director, and her associates must do three times daily for the nine months of each school year. During the summer months their family diminishes to approximately fifty. Preparing for all-school banquets, faculty dinners, Student Association picnics, class parties, and other special affairs adds variety-and work-to their responsibilities. Efficient student employees help the cafeteria directors by baking, cooking, serving, checking, cleaning, and operating the modern dishwashing equipment. Far too often taken for granted, this fine crew daily deserves the appreciation of the many students and staff members who comprise the huge school family. A DINNER brings a slower pace with more time to enioy good food and the company of friends. Mrs. Marie Pilon, Assistant Food Service Director, and Mrs. Don Hilliard, Cafeteria Assistant, prepare crispy pizza buns for the evening meal. l A . 'mill I , ll i l i l , YQ!-.JI ,J l
