56 511 enior Class History SEPTEMBER, 1905--Fifteen scrubbed and polished little angels entered the first grade room of Mrs. Josaphine Urpi. They were Bertha Marr, Irene Byler, Myra Bican, Ginny Frost, Jim Vins, Sally Blair, Jo Ann Bond, Bill Felberg, Carol Stetina, Louis Hogye, Ted Schienke, Virginia Baranyai, Jeni Soplata, Jane Night- ingale and Pat Jackson. This was the beginning of the long path toward graduation. Along the twelve years we've added twenty to our class. This brings the Senior Class of 1957 to thirty-five. Through the years we've a lot of memories--good and bad. In the second grade Jack Swann, Mary Ann Phan, Doranell Mitchell, and Mary Lou Portman joined our group. This year we all remember making Indian costumes and had a pow-wow. Starting in third grade that year was Jackie Tracy, Howard Kuhen, Phyllis Briggs, Dee Williams, Kenny Lewis and Lyman Davis. We started to write this year instead of print. Jerry Bejbl and Fred Portman joined us in the fourth grade. Mrs. Prots was our teacher that year. In the fifth grade we studied about the United States and each of us reported on a state which proved very interesting. Our teacher was Miss Susan Seith. The sixth grade brought us to the half-way point. Six more years to go! Ellie Campbell and Roy Kure joined us. We all remember learning a number of poems that year. The Junior High years were exciting, with Jr. High sports and running around like a real, live high-school student. But upper- classmen were another thing! In the seventh grade Mike Haxler joined our happy little group. Mr. Florian was our eighth grade adtlsor and everyone liked him 8. 10to In the ninth grade Jo Ann Bond joined us again after two years in East Cleveland. Jackie Blase and Eleanor Campbell left us and went to Regina. Doug Frank joined us that year. Mr. Burke was our advisor. Chuck Evans and Liz Scafe started with us in the tenth grade. Jackie Blase and Eleanor Campbell joined us again. In May we held a spring dance to begin to make money for our Prom. Mrs. Sumner was our advisor. In the fall of our Junior year we sold magazines, cards and wrapping paper for our treasury. We held the annual football dance
