FOREWORD How many times and with how many different thoughts have we sung these words to our beloved Alma Mater! Our school song, written in 1890 by Miss R. Bell Chapman, to whom we fondly dedicate this book, is cherished by all of us. But have we ever taken its phrases apart, said them slowly, thought about them? This year our staff decided to do just that, and the result you will see in the following pages. Each line has suggested a thought, each thought a picture, and each picture, a treasured memory of NFA.
