With her friends she shows plenty of spice and fun though she doesn't lose her gentle manner, Newberry High will miss her. INNIS MIMS Some say lhe world is made for fun and frolic--so do I. lnnis is endowed with a gift of originality and wit. She possesses a sunny, friendly dispo- sition and can smile when everything goes wrong. A good time is what lnnis looks for and usually has it, too. She studies a little- just enough to get by. We hate to see her go, but know she will be successful for a sunny disposition is the soul of success. WALTER NEEL His purposes have forever been To be a real pal and serve his fellowmenf' l-libbett is a student whose popularity has been increasing ever since the first day he entered school. He has made an excellent record in oratory. He also has a knack of winning friends and holding them both in and out of the class rooms. Not only was he elected class president but also the most popular member of the class. We cannot help but think of a very bright fu- ture for a student that manifests such personality and stability. PARNELI- OXNER Thy modesty is u candle lo thy merit. Parnell is the smallest and most conscientious member of our class. She is ever ready to help anyonc in trouble and has won many friends. With her good humor and fun, Nell wins a place in the hearts of all who know her. Al- though a child of pleasure, she makes a good record in the classroom. She does her part in all we undertake and can always be depended on. We wish her the best that life can give. RUBY LEE LIVINGSTON A joyful companion is worth gold. Ruby Lee is a true friend, comrade, and a good student, especially in Latin. By her pleas- ing personality and charming manner she has added many to her list of friends. The appreci- ation of her excellent qualities is shown by her many friends, who wish her a long and pros- perous life.- WILBUR E. LONG, JR. True to his aim, Let others praise or blame. Wilbur has a personality that wins the admi- ration and good will of everyone with whom he comes in contact. He lightens the burdens of others with his cheerfulness. He is very pop- ular with the teachers and students, especially his own class who choose him as editor-in-chief of THE ORACLE. We know he will be successful in life, and when he leaves the high school everyone will miss him. HELEN LOMINACK To know her is to love her, And her acquaintance is lasting. Although Helen has not been with us very long, she has proven herself a good student. Her winning personality and jolly good disposition will be cherished in our memories. She always looks on the bright side of life and can smile even in time of trouble. Whatever path Helen travels in life, we wish her great success.

He is very studious and in the time that he has been with us has done much for his class and the school. We know that some day his wonderful intellect will make all his classmates proud of him, and as he goes out into the world, the best wishes of his many friends will follow him. ETHEL ROBERTSON - One of the sweetest and most lovable, too, Best hind of a sport and pal true-blue, One of Ethel's prominent characteristics is timidity but her timidity is entirely eclipsed by her more prominent virtues. She is friendly, truthful, studious and loyal. Ethel has not told us of her plans after leaving school, but we are sure that whatever she does she will come through with colors flying. PAUL SCHUMPERT Look wise and get the benefit of the doubt. Paul is a very dependable student and is will- ing to help his classmates in any way possible. His friendly disposition has won him much popularity among the ladies as well as his fel- low students. Although a favorite among the fair sex, he never neglects his work whether in the class room or outside. Good luck, Sleepy, LARRY SMITH Little but loud.
