Ghz 1929 fiDratlz ELIZABETH BOYLSTON Happy am I: from care I am free: Why aren't they all content like me? Elizabeth has been with us four years and has proven herself a true friend and student. She is very quiet and reserved, and our class would not be complete without her. She never worries and is always ready to lend a helping hand. Should she decide to go to college or should she agree to do something else. we wish her the best of success. ELIZABETH CHANDLER Her world is ever joyous. Boober is one of our most popular class- mates. always smiling and ready to help others. Her winning personality and good disposition have widened her circle of friends. Although not very fond of studying, she is a good student. All Boober's friends and classmates hope that she may always have the greatest success in life. PAULINE CLARY Never let pleasure interfere with studies. Pauline has only been with us three years, but we feel as if she has always been a member of our class. She is always in demand because of her willingness to help. After finishing high school she plans to go in training and we are sure she will succeed in that or anything else she undertakes. GRIFFIN COLEMAN One who never turned his back, but marched breastforward on. GriBin's happy-go-lucky manner and winning personality has endeared him to his classmates. He loves his fun and believes in having it, but aside from this he has other traits of character. His determination and grit is shown by his work on the football field. It matters not how far into the future we may go, we shall never forget him. Page Twenty-one

Mabel, otherwise known as Fatty, has a personality that wins many friends for her. She is among our girl athletes and is a jolly good sport on every occasion. l Page Twenty-two fltbe 1929 Sbraclc LILLIE RAY CROMER A'lVork, study, love: but the greatest of these is love. Although Lil is in love, you never find her lacking in her studies. She is friendly to the girls but to only one boy. We would feel lone- some without her, for she is always willing to help in any way she can. Best wishes and good luck, Lillie. JOHNSON HAGOOD CLARY A smile for all, a greeting glad A lovable, jolly way he had. 'AFoots, with his stentorian voice, command- ing figure, and attractive personality is a fellow never to be forgotten. His dialogues with the teachers are an unfailing source of entertainment for the rest of the class. He gets a lot of study- ing done when quiet, but when life gets too serious he just slights his English notebook and doesn't worry. Although we can't predict your life work, Foots, here's wishing you success. RUTH FEAGLE True friends are like jewels, precious and rare. Ruth is a living proof of the old quotation that true friends are like jewels, for her friend- ship is a thing worth while. Her greatest horror is getting fatter, We do not know what Ruth's career will be, but with her straightforwardness and sincerity it cannot be other than a useful and happy one. MARGARET FULLER Her virtues are many, her faults are few: And to her friends she is loyal, faithful, and true. Although Margaret has not been with very long, it seems as if she has always been a member of our class. Her good nature, her love of fun, and her unselfishness have won her many friends. Her jolly smile and sweet face will be greatly missed in the classroom and on the cam- pus. The better one knows Margaret, the more charming she becomes.
