FORWARD The purpose of a yearbook is to help a student recall his happy high school days. We, the staff, sincerely hope that in the years to come the 1959 Chehalem will attain this purpose. Q This year the Chehalem theme is the Centennial, commemorating Ore- gon's being a state for 100 years. The scenic pictures were obtained through the courtesy of the State Highway Commission. We would also like to thank Hazel Dailey for her drawing of Newberg High School and her idea for the Chehalem cover which we are using.
