lN MEMGRIAM MRS. MARY HUFFMAN Mrs. Mary Huffman first became associated with Newark High School, as a teacher of commercial subjects, in 1913. Her mastery of the subjects she taught, her close acquaintance with office procedure as actually practiced, and her own personality enabled her to impart to her students knowledge and training that lifted them above the ordinary and caused them to be recognized as capable individuals in their particular field. lt was one of Mrs. l'luffman's great pleasure in life to help former students to positions of employment and advancement. Her untiring efforts and unquestioned loyalty have played a large part in helping make the commercial department of Newark High School recog- nized as one of the very best in the state of Ohio. The work she did so Well she leaves to us. Because of having worked with her and been privileged to know her, we shall do our work better. Page Twenty-Four
