Moving over to the Crange Armory, the Newark team was upset by the Panzer quintet. Leaving the floor at half time with a sizeable lead, the Bombers literally fell apart in the second half and lost the ball game. Returning to the friendly confines -of the Pharmacy Gymnasium, NCRU Hnally came out of their slump with a 74-'64 victory over Pace College. They followed this win with a triumph over King's Point at the Mariners Gym. In this game Geltzeiler scored 30 points. Losses to Montclair and Upsala, and victories over Pratt and Brooklyn Polytechnic Institute set the stage for the traditional Pharmacy College game. Seeking their first victory over the Newark school in 15 years of basketball competition, the Druggists jumped off to an early lead and left the floor ahead at half time. In the second half they stretched the margin to seven points before the Bombers came to life. Big Don Mopsik caught fire and threw in 20 points to lead NCRU to a onesided 70f5 6 win. On the road again NCRU suffered its.fxnal defeat of the campaign by a score of 65f49 at Queens College. The Bombers were off in their shoot- ing and the accuracy of the Queens team ultimately won the game for them. - In the last game of the season. Coach Bodner's men coasted to a 78f7O triumph over NCE. Leading at half time by a 4Of24 score, the coach used mainly reserves in the second half. When an NCE rally cut the lead to six points, he hustled his starters back into the ball game, and they were able to freeze the ball for the remaining three minutes. Basket by Burt.
